Nicholas Klofta,
IT Manager of System Design

Nicholas Klofta
Q:  How long have you been with the company?
A:  Since June 26, 2017

Q:  What is the most memorable moment of your career with Hoss's?
A:  My first day when I showed up and the people of the office walked me through all the procedures they do. I probably wrote about 50 pages of notes, and I still don’t have everything I need. Everyone in the office is extremely helpful though and are willing to help me out when I have questions.

Q:  What was the last book you read?
A:  "Timeline" by Michael Crichton

Q:  Favorite Hoss food?
A:   Classic Chicken Sandwich with Buffalo sauce

Q:  What's the funniest or most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?
A: While I was in college, I was part of the Army ROTC program. One day, my program decided to go rappelling and I’m scared by heights. It’s my turn to do the free rappel, I’m 60ft in the air, and more than a little bit nervous. The instructor tells me to jump off, so I do, but in my nervous stupor I synch the rope too soon during my fall. I fall maybe two feet, swing under the platform, smack the bottom, and lose my grip on the rope. My spotter stopped my fall but now I’m 55ft in the air, upside down, and spinning uncontrollably while everyone is watching. Anyway, I finally got myself righted and rappelled down to the ground after a solid minute of fumbling around. My old college buddies still bring it up to this day.

Q:  Describe yourself in one word.
A:   Well-rounded
Q:  What's your "pet peeve?"
A:  Just in general, when people are being overtly lazy.
Q:  What do you like to do outside of work?
A:  Writing, learning languages, experimenting with science principles, biking/running, and building little toys/trinkets/gadgets. You should have at least three hobbies: one to keep you fit, one to make you money, and one to expand your skillset or knowledge base.

Q:  What was your first job?
A:   IT Manager of System Design at Hoss's
Q:  Where is your hometown?
A:   Slickville, Pennsylvania
Q:  What is your favorite song?
A:   It switches quite frequently, but I think it is currently "Guillotine" by Jon Bellion.
Q:  Do you have any pets?
A:   My family has a cat, but I’m more of a dog person.

Q:  What would people be surprised to learn about you?
A:  I’m a decent singer/dancer (when someone shows me the steps). I’ve been performing in theatrical performances since high school and all the way through college.
