Mark Shreffler
Manager of the Year Finalist,
Huntingdon

Mark Shreffler

Q:  How long have you been with the company?
A:  16 Years in May

Q:  What is the most memorable moment of your career with Hoss's?
A:  Being nominated as a Manager of the Year Finalist

Q:  What was the last book you read?
A:  "Fired Up"

Q:  Favorite Hoss food?
A:  Used to be the Flat Iron. Now, it is the Cajun Ribeye.

Q:  What's the funniest or most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?
A: Ever been on a first date where dinner was $176? I have! At the end of the evening, she said, "Thanks for hanging out. High five!" I'll admit I was away from the dating scene a bit, feeling a bit rusty, and decided to go on this "blind" date. I chose this upscale restaurant with rave reviews. Perhaps coffee first next time?

Q:  Describe yourself in one word.
A:  Passionate
Q:  What's your "pet peeve?"
A:  Not using common sense and being lazy. Also, hearing a buzzer, timer, or phone ring over and over again.
Q:  What do you like to do outside of work?
A:   Spending time with my family, especially my nieces and nephew! Going to sporting events (Steelers, Pens, and Buccos for life!) and the movies. I also enjoy golfing on my days off and doing photography in my free time.

Q:  What was your first job?
A:  Host for Oil City Hoss's in 2002
Q:  Where is your hometown?
A:  Oil City, PA
Q:  What is your favorite song?
A:  "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"

Q:  Do you have any pets?
A:  I used to have a pug named Tank. He's been with my sister since I went into management in 2011. I'm looking forward to owning another dog in the near future.

Q:  What would people be surprised to learn about you?
A:  Yes, it's hard to believe that I'm still an eligible bachelor!
